The Specification Support, CAD Coordinator performs computer-aided design tasks to create product support materials for customer project needs and education purposes. Develops and refines CAD standards. Coordinates project leads and tracking with marketing and sales tools to assist sales teams in market opportunities. Essential Job Functions/Tasks: 1. Works with CAD software to create marketing graphics, tools, and support material to support marketing campaigns and sales requests. Has AUTOCAD understanding of management tools including layers, xreferences, ctb files, viewports, scales, and plotting to various types of media. Employs understanding of basic landscape construction methods. Creates working documents and digital PDF files for customer dispersal. 2. Develops, refines, and amends installation details for products among the family of Hunter Industries companies using CAD software. Creates manufacturer recommended installation and operation details based on industry construction standards. Employs understanding of basic landscape construction methods. Develops written specifications for product installation and project management. Creates working documents and digital files for customer dispersal. 3. Develops residential, commercial, and public space irrigation and lighting design plans and resources for marketing purposes. Creates graphic and technical illustrations for instruction documentation. Develops plan notes, details, and support documents for installation communication purposes. Creates scenario specific details for marketing purposes and to support sales request. Proofs all work before circulating for approval. Employs understanding of landscape design, plan check, and plan approval processes. 4. Manages product installation detail library for internal and external customer use. Works with web development teams to manage product details and support information libraries. Audits existing details for necessary updates and modernization to meet or exceed current drafting and/or construction standards.
Experiência y requisitos
Qualifications: Education/Training Required and Preferred: High school diploma; two years of technical training or education in landscape design, landscape architecture, or irrigation design. Bachelor degree in landscape design, or landscape architecture preferred, or related field.. Experience Required and Preferred: Minimum three three years' experience in landscape design, installation, or related field. Full bilingual is a MUST Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) Required and Preferred: Proficient with drafting and design programs in AUTODESK, LandFX preferred. Proficient with modifying and manipulating PDF files. Proficient with project management software. Ability to work in a remote team environment. Ability to learn new graphic skills on the job and through self-guided learning material preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including WORD, PROJECT, and EXCEL.
