Job Title: Spring Boot Lead (Spanish & English Speaking person)
Location: Mexico City
Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 6+ years
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
1. Lead a team of Spring Boot developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
2. Drive the technical vision and strategy for Spring Boot projects.
Architecture and Design:
2. Collaborate with system architects to ensure overall system coherence.
Code Review and Quality Assurance:
1. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and knowledge sharing within the team.
2. Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Project Planning and Execution:
1. Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
2. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and system architects.
2. Communicate technical concepts and decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
1. Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
2. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Database Integration:
1. Work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non relational (MongoDB) to design and implement data models.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Spring Boot Lead for min 2 projects.
2. In-depth knowledge of Java development and the Spring Boot framework.
3. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
4. Experience with database design, optimization, and integration.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
7. Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
8. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
9. Ecommerce knowledge is mandatory.
