Purpose
Roles and Responsibilities.
1. Lead and develop the design of Specialized Engineering Projects, such as Power Masx in its 3 lines such as PMS, RAS and Microgrids so that they are delivered to the client on time, on budget and under the required quality standards.
2. Development of dynamics and transient stability studies in software such as PSSe, DigSilent or similar. Development of Hardware In the Loop (HIL) tests using real-time simulators such as RTDS, OPAL, etc.
3. High knowledge of Electrical Power Systems for the design, development and implementation of remedial action schemes and/or Microgrids.
4. Review and Validate information and budgets of the delivered projects to agree the project execution margins and proceed to be released.
5. Manage and implement the methods, procedures, work instructions, design guides and best practices for the design of specialized engineering projects that will be the basis for the standardized development of the process of Studies and SPS projects.
6. Coordinate and design the new system developments that are made by R&D and ES Pullman to guarantee the correct implementation within the specialized engineering process.
8. Participate in the commissioning and/or training of the customers who request it, to offer comprehensive services to guarantee the operation of specialized engineering systems such as Power Max and technically prepare customers for perform the operation and maintenance of the systems.
9. Coordinate technological development and innovation projects with the corporate to obtain the design of integrated systems and propose technological and economic alternatives to clients. Promoting participation in markets other than the electricity sector.
10. Propose and implement improvements in the development processes of Specialized Engineering projects to optimize the development time and the quality of the systems.
11. Develop SEL technical literature, including design guides and Application Notes and technical articles at an international level in order to publicize and promote specialized Engineering solutions at an international level.
12. Live and behave under the values of SEL to carry out daily activities.
13. Guarantee in conjunction with the project management for the fulfillment or improvement of the GM of the projects assigned to his charge.
14. Lead improvement projects that allow increasing the level of productivity and quality of the area to guarantee compliance with the quality policy to Identify Measure and Improve.
Requirements (Education/Experience/Training/Skills/Competencies)
1. Master's degree in Electricity or Electrical Power Systems
2. Basic knowledge of Control and Automation
3. Four years of experience in dynamics and transient stability studies
4. Knowledge of electrical power system protection
5. Handling of electrical power system study software
6. Intermediate or advanced level of English
