Ensure that the material used in the transformation processes arrives at the plant with the specified quality and requirements, as well as the follow-up and audit with suppliers.
Perform formal complaint to suppliers for quality issues, as well as follow up on actions and clean points, coordinate inspection and draws of material in plant as required.Provide defective parts disposition, analysis and report creation.Update information for DTS Irapuato Plant KPIs (Suppliers).Maintain control of the cost of quality related to the supplier issue, as well as follow up on the respective cost recovery.Ensures the execution of the inspection procedures received.Participate in decision making related to suppliers and the quality of their components, in conjunction with Product Engineering and Quality.Ensure the implementation and follow up of BorgWarner production system as well as IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 are met within the areas of influence.Responsible for the reporting, investigation and follow up of incidents occurring with personnel in charge.Ensure attendance of Health and Safety training for personnel in charge.Observes and ensures that his personnel, contractors (when applicable) and himself, know and observe the safety measures applied in the area where he performs the work.Incorporate to their work the tools and principles of standardization, 5S's, TPM.
