Ensure APQP/PPAP are timely completed for new programs launch for Mechatronics suppliers. Monitor supplier performance while working with the team to meet supplier Quality metrics and objectives.**Job Description**:Manage Site SQE Team to assure standardization of APQP/PPAP element delivery.Manage staff and associated resources for Supplier Quality related needs.Drive improvements in supply base Quality performance through attendance to corporate requirements, providing training as required.Ensure Site SQE participation during Technical reviews and respective deliverable sign off.Monitor and ensure supplier APQP activities (control plans, PFMEA, process flow, SPC, run at rate, PPAP, etc.) are taking place and completed to AAM standards and are delivered on-time.Ensure proper planning in place to execute supplier SQ4 assessments. Also conduct SQ4 assessments as deemed necessary.Assist suppliers in problem solving effectiveness including root cause analysis through implementation of corrective actionsPromote and support implementation of VAVE activities to achieve cost reduction targets.Monitor the planning and execution of supplier on site visits based on supplier performance launch manual.Prioritize SQE Site Engineer training driving compliance to all organizational and corporate training requirements; provide timely performance feedback through coaching, counseling and Performance Review processes.Consolidate, analyze, and report key supplier quality metrics monthly to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.Participate, as needed, on AAM Teams and effectively interact with other AAM technical departments and Assembly Plant personnel to find creative solutions to constraintsManage Supplier emerging issues (Quality, manufacturing, delivery, etc.)This position requires travel.All other duties as assigned
