SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER (LEVEL 2) Summary: Responsible of supplier evaluation, approval, monitoring and maintenance processes, as well as maintaining databases assigned for these processes up to date. Identify trends related to supplier noncompliance and address them thru the SCAR process, ensuring an effective implementation. Perform and/or coordinate supplier audits as required. Monitors suppliers' performance thru scorecards and report to the appropriate parties. Ensure supplier maintenance per defined procedures. - Review new supplier requests and coordinate with involved parties to obtain all documentation required - Execute supplier audits as needed, including continuous maintenance of suppliers after approval - Ensures database assigned for supplier quality is kept up to date, including all related documentation. - Request register of new supplier to Supplier Set-Up group, once the supplier has met all requirements, and follow-up until the new supplier is approved in Oracle system - Registers new suppliers in Agile system - Submit, review and follow-up on SCARs until their closure - Maintain communication with suppliers, addressing any quality requirement - Implements, maintains, and reports balance score card for suppliers - Provide support to DQE to segregate PFGs at TJD, as needed - Create and maintain alternate materials/suppliers log, as well as follow-up with Engineering for their release - Ensure execution of continuous maintenance activities for currently approved suppliers
Experiência y requisitos
- Professional degree (i.e. Industrial Engineering or equivalent) - 3 to 5 years of experience in equivalent role - English, advance level (is able to maintain conversations at a professional / technical level.) - Certification on ISO 13485:2016 (internal auditor as minimum) - MS Office, Agile, Oracle - Interpretation of industrial drawings, quality inspection plans, sampling plans, use of measurement and test equipment and fixtures, knowledge in document control, risk assessment, BOMs, DMRs, DHRs
