.Tasks**Job description**:- Drive Continental Supplier Quality Management System, measures and improvement activities within the project- Identify any component risks and develop solutions based on Continental Global Quality and "Quality First " initiatives- Ensure Best in Class consistent and sustainable supplier quality performance to support flawless project launches- Escalate critical topics for component introduction (technical, timing, etc.) to Business Unit level- Lead and drive component risk analysis between Plant SQM-CI and the supplier(s)- Guide customer requirements review for purchased components- Support customer requested audits at Continental locations related to component status**Qualifications**:**Job responsibilities**:- Drive the team to identify critical and long lead time components during Maturity Evaluation (ME)- Track and document component introduction status and report to Project Team- Drive and support the team for the entire project milestones (MLC gates) to achieve on-time- Provide answers to all SQM-related gate review questions for each MLC gate to the project team- Support Purchasing during sourcing evaluation process- Work with Plant SQM to provide continuous APQP and PPAP status for each purchased component**Drive KPI management**:- Maturity Evaluation (ME) on time and updated- Supplier Component Reviews (SCR) to green status- Feasibility Commitment (FC) to green status- APQP support to Plant SQM- PSW on-time, and first time- Provide input for supplier improvement programs- Implement lessons learned within SQM and BU for component introduction, design / specification topics, supplier selection, technology, and series production issues**Required knowledge/experience**:- Quality Management (including quality policies, systems, and processes)- Product Lifecycle (MLC-gates) and SQM processes- Quality assurance know-how, product safety issues and risk management- 4-year degree or technical academic equivalent- Minimum 3 years experience with SQM / operations / customer qualityAbout usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
