The ideal candidate is someone with experience in the accounting field, has strong analytical skills, and is able to work in a fun, agile, and fast-paced business environment.How you will achieve success:Execute month-end tasks, billing, account reconciliations; own finance metrics andreport out to the business; assist in A/R and A/P tasks.Receive and process requests from agency members for accounting needs and act as a liaison with external accounting team as well as parent accounting team.Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership; document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Drive issue resolution cross-functionally through effective communication to partners and leadership.Assist the Director of Financial Operations with day-to-day tasks and one-off projects.What experiences will help you in this role:Required:Bachelor's degree in public accounting (or international equivalent) with 3+ years' experience in the accounting field; demonstrated significant initiative and tenacity in prior jobs.Knowledge of GAAP, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with analytical tools and ability to drive processes into new technologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills (must be fluent in English).Self-starter with ability to work independently and also able to work in a fun, agile, and fast-paced business environment.Preferred:Industry certifications and/or graduate degree in business-related field; experience using Quickbooks, Invoiced.Com, and Bill.Com.This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup.Desktop/Laptop system requirements:4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor; at least 4GB RAM; Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system.A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable, or fiber wired internet service with at least 50 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection).PC Headset (With noise-canceling feature is preferred but not required).A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.We consider candidates who meet the specific job qualifications, whether they are located near our Lehi, UT office or have the ability to work remotely.Please visit comparably
