AccountantThis position is responsible for generating the financial information of the organization, including the registration and control of payments to suppliers and employees, as well as the preparation and presentation of tax obligations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.How You'll Help Us Connect the World:Calculation of weekly remittances and payments to suppliers, including receipt and review of invoices.Invoice validation, accounting and registration of invoices in the system (MACOLA), invoice scanning, check printing, and expense distribution.Timely payroll processing, including calculation and review of weekly payroll, special payroll, tax margin verification, payment application, and monthly payroll stamping.Preparation and recording of month-end policies and presentation of electronic accounting.Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.Preparation and presentation of compensation notices and refund requests.Calculation and presentation of state tax obligations and INEGI reports.Preparation and presentation of provisional payments and IMSS payments, including invoicing of eventual income.Presentation of partner and shareholder lists before the SAT (Form 96).Support AOM activities and reconciliation of IMSS payments vs accounting records.Preparation and presentation of responses to notifications from SAT and other government agencies.Provide information for audits and reviews as required by other departments.Conduct meetings with the Union to clarify issues regarding payments and processes.Knowledge and management of tax laws.Required Qualifications for ConsiderationEducation: Public Accountant/Bachelor of Accounting or related degree.5+ years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of tax laws and reconciliation processes for VAT refunds and compensations.Experience in preparation and presentation of provisional payments and monthly DIOT informative returns.Ability to manage matters before SAT authorities and government agencies.Experience with audits, reconciliations, payroll, and accounts payable.Intermediate or advanced skills in Excel and MS Office.What happens after you apply?Learn how to prepare for the next steps in our hiring process by visiting our website.CommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.
