We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations for an accounting firm that focuses specifically in restaurant accounting in the United States.
This person must have an outstanding English Level as well as high attention to detail, and excellent analytical and organizational skills.
**Responsibilities**- Maintaining and developing a good relationship with the company's clients while working with them to ensure that their accounting is done properly and in a timely manner.- Elaborating and presenting financial reports including financial statements.- Reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.- Analyze financial information.- Maintaining and reviewing GL entries.- Financial forecasting and Budgeting.- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.- Plan, assign and review staff's work.- Support month-end and year-end close process.- Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles.
**Qualifications**- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant- Advanced English Level written and spoken- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant.- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures- In-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Taxes (prefered)- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks, Xero or Oracle.- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables- Relevant certification (e.G.
