The primary focus of this position is providing accounting administrative support & analysis for the CALA International above property team:- Processing invoices against the Marketing Programs Budget with appropriate allocation.- Provide support to manage the finance systems & allocations affecting the CALA International Administrative departments.- Perform monthly general ledger processing and provide reports.- Researches and responds to inquiries regarding problems and discrepancies with financial data and makes corrections to entries as necessary.- Develop periodic measurements, trends, analysis, productivity reports, forecast, etc.- Provide ad hoc analysis to support the Finance Admin team- Partnering with CALA finance partners to review reports & ensure alignment and accuracy.- Provide monthly analysis on the CALA P&Ls.This person will focus on International departments; however, he/she may also perform duties that relate to domestic departments as well, as business needs require.**EXPECTED CONTRIBUTION**- Record and process transactions accurately and timely.- Review general ledgers during month end close for accuracy. Complete journal entry reclasses as necessary.- Provide support/reviews and critique monthly, quarterly, and annual results.- Ensure MIP - 44 and MIP - 66 - controls are in place. Transactions should be processed and recorded according to Marriott Financial SOPs.- Provide accounting support for annual forecasting/budget process for accounts under his/her responsibility which includes preparation of detail forecast/budgets, and allocations.- Verifies mathematical accuracy of accounting documents and reports. Determines and makes appropriate corrections.- Ensure budgets are accurate; costs are recorded properly and statements distributed to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.- Support a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations, profitability and mitigate risk.- Provide support for budgeting process.- Provide data in a timely manner to update stakeholders on financial reports and information.- Prepare reporting and analysis for all accounts across CALA Administration on a monthly/period/quarterly basis (e.G. roll-ups, exception reporting), and provide ongoing analytical support to our key stakeholders in the continent
