Sr. Accounting Supervisor I

**Career Area**:Accounting** Supervision activities for Field service, Service parts, Overhaul accounting / invoicing activities for Americas.- Month end closing reporting- Performs monthly account reconciliations and analysis of the Balance Sheet accounts.
Independently identifies, investigates and resolves variances- Ensure compliance with the legal standards as well as with organization's policies and procedures- Supports month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities- Ensures accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems, including general ledger journal entries in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies- **Experience with accounting and reporting at least 8 years**:- **Strong background in internal controls**:- **English language skill is a must**:- **Additional language is nice to have**:- **Communication skills**:- **Standard experience with excel**:- **Master's degree in Accounting / Finance**:- **Accounting Certification is an asset**:- **ERP system knowledge**:Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
