Descripción In this role, the Planner will be responsible for overseeing production and inventory control, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Lead production planning and inventory control with a focus on machine-specific production schedules.Manage ERP and MRP systems to optimize material planning and procurement, specifically in the procurement of steel materials.Coordinate closely with suppliers and customers, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues related to material availability and delivery schedules.Oversee APQP processes to support new product launches and ensure alignment with production goals.Analyze demand forecasts and production rates to develop actionable plans for machine and workforce allocation.Drive the optimization of planning processes using advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.Collaborate with operational teams including press, welding, and tooling to ensure production plans are met and identify areas for improvement.Monitor inventory levels, including cycle counting and management of obsolete inventory, to ensure on-time delivery and minimize risks.Perfil buscado The ideal candidate for this position is a strategic thinker with strong analytic skills and experience in production planning within the automotive industry.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.Proven experience in production planning, inventory management, and procurement, preferably within the automotive sector.Proactive problem-solver, capable of managing complex planning processes, and able to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers.Strong knowledge of steel specifications, alloys, and material science, with the ability to apply this knowledge in procurement and production planning.Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, graph creation, and budget forecasting.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers and customers.Strong leadership potential, with the ability to grow into a managerial role within the organization.Experience in APQP and new product launch processes.High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Qué Ofrecemos Benefits above the law and a competitive salary.
