The Sr.
Payroll Advisor plays an important role in establishing a sustainable Payroll department in the BSO.
We need employees, all eager to engage actively in building a high-performing department, valuing collaboration, quality, and fun in the everyday life.
Your main Challenges will be, to be part of establishing a payroll department with a great working environment and where quality, learning and performance are keystones for the BSO covering The North & South America and Mexico.
Also, to form new collaborative relationship with partners and thereby ensure sustainable implementation of the global processes in Payroll
**Core Responsibilities**
To support The LEGO Group with consistent, timely and reliable Payroll processes and ensure efficient payroll maintenance, validation & compliance set up.
Coping with an exciting and constantly changing environment that includes various ways of working and cultural diversity among partners.
As Payroll Sr. Advisor, you are responsible for delivering a consistent service to all the customers of the BSO.
This means to meet the customers' expectations and provide them with a top professional service, incorporating the LEGO values.
You are expected to manage execution of payroll processes for Mexican Company Codes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including: payroll run in a weekly basis and reconciliations (payroll vs GL, payroll vs Tax)
Deliver a highly efficient, customer
- and service-oriented culture where the outside-in approach is starting point for all processes, understanding, and anticipating to partner's needs.
Collaborate with colleagues for the benefit of the whole (teammate).
**Do you have the skills required?
**
- 5 years' of proven working experience within Payroll/HR function.
- High school graduate with 5 years of relevant working experience in Payroll, Labor Relations, HR.
- Degree holders in relevant field (Accountant, Business Administration or others related)
- Good understanding of legislation and tax rules (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, CFDI)
- Language: Advanced English.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- SAP experience and if you have knowledge of Workday is a plus
- Been robust, resilient, and able to embrace changes
- Strong analytical, attentive to detail and high-quality oriented skills, with strong ability to prioritize
- A proactive mind with a can-do attitude.
- Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and proven ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners
- Customer focus and service minded person with strong focus on internal customer relations and processes
