Discovery in different cycles (Actuals, Forecast and Plan).Supports Monthly financial business closing (monthly updates with different scenarios of comparisons) actively participating with the stakeholders from Finance and Accounting to analyze and understand the main P&L variations.Looks for logical explanations to understand the business.Prepares Ad Hoc analysis and special projects according to the client needs.Identifies improvements in the internal processes.Additionally, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for enhancing departments systems and tools through involvement in system design and testing.The DailyPerforms tie-out of US Nets profit & loss statement for all planning cycles across the applicable systems within the Company.Performs analysis of financial statement and specific projects, as directed.Supports the preparation of forecast trending schedules and key metrics.Provides Director of Finance with commentary (verbal and written) on results reported as needed and responds to inquiries from business unit finance.Designs and implements processes improvements.Active participation in the development of consolidation reports and analysis.Participates with the preparation of month and year-end processes by reviewing actual vs. plan/forecast variances, reviewing financial trends.Ensures a robust control environment, with all key processes documented and regular review of results and key reconciliations.Prepares analysis to provide business visibility for decision making, creating different views of the information (By business, network, cons unit, cost center, etc.).Handles other special projects as required and other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Work ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting/finance or related environment required.Previous experience in entertainment a plus.Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationBA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.Knowledge/SkillsThorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP) and financial statements
