The Senior Global Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for directing and managing all material movement and material flow globally, including production & supplier planning, forecasting, receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory control, and inventory accuracy for direct materials segments including Mechanical, Electrical and Semiconductor categories. This position will drive cross-functional processes and bridge Supply focused information silos across Procurement and Manufacturing and create closer integration with Demand Planning and Supply Planning. The successful candidate will maintain inventory accuracy and the end-to-end processes related to warehouse management, inventory handling, inventory control and accuracy, storage, receiving, shipping, and the continuous improvement of these processes.
Your Team This role will report directly to Sr Global Supply Chain Manager. This is an individual contributor role.
What You Will Do Supports Harman connected car and car audio manufacturing plants in all aspects of supplier collaboration, including demand planning and forecasting.Works with Procurement to manage supplier supply chain topics, including capacity, logistics, services, and supplier performance measurement.As required, assists in inventory management, including inventory reduction and inventory level evaluations.Actively engages in the continuous improvement and development of SIOP (Sale, Inventory, Operations Planning) process and organization.Implement Inventory Policies for RAW, WIP, and Finished Goods that take HARMAN to the best-in-class Companies.Implement robust Master Data Management processes and procedures that significantly reduce risk from HARMAN.Identifying opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership. Including critical parts, inventories, and capacities.Provide "what if" business case analysis scenarios for executive decision support.Audit SAP master data settings, including inventory and planning.Recommends raw and WIP inventory strategies for the supply chain organization.Supporting role for the reporting of inventory performance.Support all plants regarding inventory analysis and reporting including days on hand, inventory turns, and dead/slow moving. Reporting findings and initiating corrective actions.Identify global continuous improvement activities to enhance supply chain effectiveness and cost reduction.What You Need 3+ years of materials and/or supply chain management experience preferably in the automotive manufacturing environment.Experience in handling multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion.Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related technical discipline.Experience in handling Electrical Categories/Commodities (displays, passives, and PCB, drives and EMECH)Experience utilizing financial and data-driven techniques to make decisions.What is Nice to Have Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation both in English and Spanish.Negotiation and incident management skills.
