**Your Role at Baxter**:We save and sustaining lives by supervising the process for compliance with international trade, customs, and government agency regulations for all Baxter entities in the LATAM region.
You'll supports international logistics to complete the operation within the operational standards in time, assertiveness, compliance, and excellence.

**What will do at Baxter?
**:- Maintaining compliance procedures to ensure company-wide adherence to trade regulations.- Reviewing and updating changes in Customs and other Government Agencies legislation, international trade operations, new trade agreements, and other programs that may impact Baxter.- Identify potential trade compliance risks for Baxter and developing strategies to mitigate it.- Support Government and internal audits focused on customs compliance.- Support new required Government programs.- Support Customs programs (Mercosur, Drawback, Recof).- Support Customs Broker selection, review and performance.- Collaborate on new product initiatives to understand legal impact, define compliance requirements and establish appropriate compliance policies and controls.- Prepare reports to senior management with performance and challenges.- Participate in and represent Baxter in forums at the regional level.- Identify and implement strategic cost savings initiatives such as foreign trade zones, duty drawback, free trade agreements, duty suspension regimes, etc.

**What will bring!
**:- University/bachelor's degree.- 5 years confirmed experience in Trade Compliance, Global Trade, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Import/Export- Fluent in English.- Experience implementing Global Trade software preferred
