**Responsibilities**:
The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large architectural assignments with overall responsibility for construction estimate, budget adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination. This includes, but is not limited to, the stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge" as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction.
- May plan and develop architectural projects concerned with unique or controversial problems by offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular area.
- Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm, with responsibility for acting independently on matters pertaining to specialty field.
- Receives supervision that is administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives.
- May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a small staff of architects, and CADD designers working on the same assigned projects.
- Leads client meetings to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate a project.
- Takes an active part in business development activities. Prepares contract proposals and participates in presentations.
- Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
- Travel required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture
- Twenty (20) or more years of related practical experience in architecture with former employer(s).
- Experience with industrial and/or commercial projects
- Experience coordinating projects and teams
- Strong leadership skills
- Advanced English communication skills is mandatory
