About the role The Carrier Mexico Accounting & Controllership Shared Service group has an Accounting Sr Associate role for an analytical and motivated person who has a passion for transformation. This position works closely with Carrier's Global HVAC consolidations team and Mexico factories to ensure accurate financial reporting while maintaining proper internal controls. Primary duties include supporting the monthly financial closing process, journal entries/account reconciliations, loading & balancing multiple ERP systems, master data maintenance, transformation process improvements, and ad hoc reporting. The position works with a cross-functional team of accounting/controls, FP&A, and operations.
Key Responsibilities: Support monthly closing duties; load and balance ERP systems to HFM, journal entries, and other closing analysis.Prepare monthly account reconciliations.General Ledger Maintenance and other master data functions.Monthly and annual INEGI/EMOE Government Surveys.Work independently with BU controllers and other functional leaders on ad hoc requests.Provide internal & external auditors data requests.Review and update Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.Payroll activities.Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.2 years of experience in a similar role.Preferred Requirements: Financial accounting experience (journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly financial closing process).Ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw meaningful conclusions.Advanced English.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).SAP.CFIN & Hyperion (Desirable).Excel & PowerPoint (Advanced).Benefits Have peace of mind and body with our health insurance.Drive forward your career through professional development opportunities.Our Commitment to You Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity, and passion of our employees.
