Key Responsibilities: As a key member of HTS Mexico leadership team, play pro-active role in developing strategy, deploying business plans and supporting all business requirements through the site. Align and execute HTS legal's global initiatives.Lead and manage NPI contracts and legal documentation for a broad range of commercial transactions including university collaborations, labs, technical collaboration with government bodies and other commercial players, intellectual property licensing agreements, supply agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, testing and certification agreements, etc.Support IP initiatives and practices and work closely with HTS IP Counsel to foster IP culture and drive IP processes and best practices to drive optimal value from the innovations and collaborations.Facilitate F2F IP & Compliance trainings.Drive integrity and compliance program, partnering with the LATAM GC, I&C function leader and HR. Oversee and implement the program in HTS Mexico site.Analyse updates to local and international legislation, identifying the impact on the operation of HTS Mexico projects.Enable engagement with third parties and drive intelligent risk taking within HTS. Enable HTS engineers to develop business acumen and appropriately interact with third parties in commercial discussions, participating in bids and negotiations.Advise HTS leadership on a range of legal and regulatory issues in the region and on projects related to new-age technologies like Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML), Facial Recognition, Blockchain, etc., making quick decisions in unclear environments.Develop standardized processes incorporating best practices from the industry for right and fast delivery of legal services to business.Issue legal opinions, establish legal risk mitigation strategies, as well as negotiate and propose strategic solutions, interacting with functions representatives, business directors, and leadership team.YOU MUST HAVE: Law degree (J.D. or equivalent).Licensed to practice law in Mexico / Latin America.Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience.
