The Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced automation systems within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in both project management and process engineering, capable of driving complex automation projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation technologies, process optimization, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve world-class manufacturing standards Key Responsibilities: Automation Design & Implementation:Lead the design and development of automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.Develop and implement control systems, including PLC programming, robotics, and HMI/SCADA systems.Ensure integration of automation systems with existing processes and IT infrastructure. Project Management:Manage end-to-end automation projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline development, and budget management.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including process engineering, maintenance, and production, to ensure project alignment with overall business objectives.Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. Process Engineering:Collaborate with the process engineering team to identify and implement process improvements using automation technology.Conduct process capability studies and leverage statistical tools to optimize processes for efficiency and quality.Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, control plans, and technical specifications. Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, optimizing existing systems, and implementing best practices.Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts related to automation systems.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of automation innovation.
