About the roleDesign automation scripts/programs and find solutions for automation problems.What you'll doCollaborate with stakeholders, QA analysts, and software developers to design test plans/batteries.Use test automation guidelines and research issues in software through testing.Create automation scripts to test common and uncommon scenarios.Maintain the base script library along with the mechanisms to run them, following good code practices and design patterns.Coordinate and communicate with the Product Owner, technical team, and QA team to create new scripts for new scenarios based on QA test batteries.Maintain assigned work items in the agile board and assist in team meetings, following priorities established by PO/PM/Dev Lead.QualificationsPrevious experience as a test automation engineer.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.Experience in any test framework such as Mockito, JUnit, or Cucumber (desirable).Highly accurate and detail-oriented.Familiarity with Java, Python 3, Selenium, Docker, Katalon, and automation frameworks.
