**Description**:
**JOB SUMMARY**
Under general supervision, ensure quality, cost-effective management of total rewards programs throughout Mexico that meet company financial targets.
Manage third party benefit administration providers to ensure service and accuracy.
Conduct analysis and research to support management in developing and administering effective benefits program and compensation planning in accordance with the organization's reward program.
Oversee implementation of improvements to benefit programs.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
'-Develop and implement more complex employee benefit programs as assigned, including, but not limited to health, dental, vision, life, disability, Shift Premium, Productivity Bonus, Employee discounts programs and time off initiatives.
Analyze services, coverage and options available through insurance vendors.
Provide support and oversite for unique/orphan benefit plans maintained by other Medline entities in Mexico.
Lead the administration of all other benefit plans including vendor management, vendor selection, employee communications, issue resolutions, etc.
Oversee quality control of vendors through audit of their work product, claims processing, etc.
Oversee benefit eligibility and claims appeals.
Subject matter expert for employee communication materials/websites for benefit programs.
Conduct new hire orientation, open enrollment and various other training programs.
Oversee benefit administration, including benefit administration vendor, for family status changes, new hire processing, termination processing, death processing.
Subject matter expert and escalation point for vendor concerns.
Work collaboratively to develop and update benefit documentation such as guides.
Develop and implement procedures for benefit administration.
Support the daily implementation of communication plans and the delivery of communication programs across Mexico regarding employee benefits, compensation and well-being topics.
Work with other communications teams across Mexico organization for cohesive branding and messaging
Produce and/or assist in the conceptualization, design and implementation of assigned communication materials including newsletters, employee communications, company website and various other campaigns for the benefits and HR team.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree.
BA, HR, Labor Relations, or similar.
Marketing, Accounting
- TRESS System, Workday (Desirable)
- English 80%
**Work Experience**
- At least 4 years employee benefit administration experience, benefit plan design and financial analysis of benefit plans
- At least 3 years of experience providing analytical support and problem solving of benefit plan related problems/issues to employees and their spouses.
- Experience reading and interpreting documents such as insurance and health, medical, plan documents.
**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table) and intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
- Knowledge of benefit practices, trends, methods and pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs (labor law, ISR, IMSS, Social Prevision, payroll tax)
- Strong customer focus.
