We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our Technology Project Management Office (Tech-PMO) organization. This is a full-time, hybrid/remote position. The Data Scientist will produce and analyze reports to measure Project Portfolio performance and other metrics within the Technology department to identify bottlenecks, promote process improvements, and forecasting. In addition, the Data Scientist will perform any other duties/tasks assigned by direct supervisor and/or PMO Director, and CTO.Key Responsibilities:Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.Ability to model data to visualize it in the most effective way possible for a given project or initiative.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with data management tools.Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds.Excellent attention to detail.Researches and develops automated tasks to create and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs via API integrations, Webhooks or internal and external databases.Industrious and able to think of "out of the box" solutions to solve problems.Persistent and results focused; must be able to deliverresults in an environment which requires a high tolerance for ambiguity.Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or other technical degree (or 5+ years work experience in data science field).Mastery of Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Visio.Experience working with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) or similar collaboration/work management tools.Clear understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and processes (Waterfall, Kanban, and Scrum).Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.Ability to manipulate, process, and extract value from large, disconnected datasets.Ability to perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.Familiarity with data visualization tools and ability to produce clean, informative visualizations to clearly communicate research insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills – English Language.UI/UX design experience - Nice to have.#J-18808-Ljbffr
