.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesSupport Manager to build team environment to achieve goals and objectives according to department KPI's.Should be able to communicate effectively with suppliers, manage inventory, analyze data to improve planning & execution.Directed cross-functional strategic sourcing teams to consolidate vendor base & leverage total corporate spend.Conduct sourcing activities, price negotiations, & work with stakeholders on vendor selection criteria & contract management.Form strategic partnerships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms & conditions to support business objectives.Direct Material replenishment: responsible for the replenishment of raw materials for a continuous production process.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels & work closely with production teams to forecast needs, ensuring timely availability of materials without overstocking.Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory levels. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.New launches and Cost Saving Projects: Lead and execute suppliers' selection process for mass production volumes and cost reduction opportunities.Own Project deliverables for his sourced components, and compliance to components designs.Processes requisitions for supplies, research products, clarifies specifications, and documents competitive bidding, enter purchase orders.Validate and negotiate charge-back amounts.Perform Raw Material Planning for the facility to ensure goods come into each facility in an efficient and economical manner.Searches out alternate vendors or supplies during periods of shortages or stock outs.Monitors and maintains inventory within the budget and inventory turnover rate.Process NCMR for Return to Vendor or Scrap on Site through MRP System.Experiencia y requisitosCollege degree in Business, Engineering or Logistics.Strong automotive purchasing background to include experience in SCM strategy, SCM finance, forecasting, negotiations, supplier development, procurement strategy, trade management with logistics, and transportation management exposure.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening).General PC skills with MS Office software knowledge at basic/intermediate/advanced level.4-7 years of Purchasing experience.Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and coworkers.Bilingual (English).Problem solving skills.APICS certification (preferred).Strong analytical skills ability to take direction and execute with minimal supervision
