Prepare regularreports on procurement activities and performance metrics.New launches and Cost Saving ProjectsLead and execute suppliers' selection process for massproduction volumes and cost reduction opportunitiesOwn Project deliverables for his sourced components, andcompliance to components designs.Processes requisitions for supplies, research products,clarifies specifications, and documents competitive bidding, enter purchaseordersValidate and negotiate charge-back amountsPerform Raw Material Planning for the facility to ensure goodscome into each facility in an efficient and economical mannerStrong oral and written communication skills and interpersonalskillsSearches out alternate vendors or supplies during periods ofshortages or stock outsMonitors and maintains inventory within the budget andinventory turnover rateProcess NCMR for Return toVendor or Scrap on Site through MRP SystemExperiência y requisitosCollege degree in Business, Engineering or LogisticsStrong automotive purchasing background to include experiencein SCM strategy, SCM finance, forecasting, negotiations, supplierdevelopment, procurement strategy, trade management with logistics, andtransportation management exposure.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation,listening)General PC skills with MS Office software knowledge at basic /intermediate / advanced level4-7 years of Purchasing experienceAbility to create and maintain collaborative relationshipswith customers and coworkersBilingual (English)Problem solving skills.APICS certification (preferred)Strong analytical skills ability to take direction and executewith mínimal supervision
