This position will support multiple sites withcus on identifying best value suppliers (equipment and servicer the bidding process. This position will manage moderately complex aspects of a project. The work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. This position will have a strocus on internal customer service.-Function and Responsibilities.- Analyze technical data and specifications to determine the equipment and contracted services needr site related projects Conduct searchr new suppliers of goods and services, evaluate their capabilities, assess risk and qualify as necessary Evaluate equipment suppliers and negotiate purchasing agreemenr equipment Identifies cost savings opportunities and assists in achieving yearly cost reduction targets set by the Sr CAPEX & Purchasing Manager Negotiate prices and draft terms and conditions of purchase Reviews requesr assigned materials, parts and/or services and verifies specifications with requester as necessary Attend domestic and international trade shows to view and collaborate with senior management on new product listingsand pulse of the industry Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets Administer supplier and vendor contracts Ensure that purchases comply with commercial, legal and contractual obligations Communicate with stakeholders regarding the nature anction of purchased equipment Liason between logistics anance to ensure end to ellow up of purchase, delivery and payment Develop process of OEM selection and standardization Requerimientsicos Office work is typically 80% aeld work at plant sites is %.
