Our corporate values guide us uncompromisingly to always do the right thing, continually learn and improve, respect everyone and lead with service and humility.About the RoleThe Senior Buyer is responsible for the supply plan of finished goods and materials, works closely to sourcing and the vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. The senior buyer/planner also works closely with account management, customer service and the customers to ensure demand requirements are met.Senior buyers also analyze requirements trends and develops strategies to optimize the supply chain processes.This role will be critical in maintaining our inventory levels and ensuring that we get materials in a timely matter mitigating any risks of stockouts.Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for supply planning.- Review historical trends on demand/material requirements and recommend actions.- Creates supply plan (make and buy) based on demand requirements.- Monitor cost and schedule of assigned purchase orders as well as purchase price variations (PPV).- Solve problems with orders and resolve all receiving and invoicing discrepancies.- Act as mentor and coach within the purchasing and planning department; provide guidance as needed to other buyers/planners as requested.- Implement action and escalate according to escalation protocol as necessary.- Coordinate with production and the support areas to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to customers.- Coordinate with suppliers, sourcing, logistics and project management to ensure PO on-time deliveries.- Creates, maintains updated product/vendor information.- Responsible of KPIs as on-time delivery, past due orders, etc.Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in international business, business administration, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience (3-5 years in similar job positions).- Ability to fluently speak and write in English is required.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning.- Leadership skills for decision making.- Proficient in excel.**Additional Success Factors**:- Customer service skills.- Knowledge and implementation of lean strategies focused on supply chain.**Consideraciones importantes**:- Recuerda que solo puedes participar en un proceso de vacante interna a la vez.- Se debe cumplir obligatoriamente con una conversación previa entre interesado y líder directo
