Sr Buyer/Planner

Responsible that purchase goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. You will hold responsibility for a specific project/region/business or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing. You will negotiate midsize value contracts, complex requirements and meeting internal client objectives while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness. You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external vendors. JOB DUTIES: Deliver on KPI´s: OTD, Customer OTTR, Vendor OTTR, Schedule attainment, exception messages Manage Inventory levels: lot size, lead times, consigned inventory Vendor relationship management: performance, T3 meetings, forecast, scorecard, QBR, backlog Liaison between company and vendor to get support from functional areas for issue resolution Identify cost reduction opportunities Review and monitor purchase requisitions Understand market trends Resolve invoice discrepancies Ensure compliance with strategic procurement requirements Project management YOU MUST HAVE: Bachelor degree, Master degree is a plus 6 years minimum experience in electronics manufacturing industry Fluent in Spanish and English MRP knowledge, planning and purchasing tools and methodologies WE VALUE: Strong communication skills and a team player Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize Problem solving Knowledge in project management is a plus WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?: Resideo's benefits above the Mexican law #LI-CR1#LI-Hybrid
