We are searching for an exceptional Senior Category Specialist within our Global Electronics Category Management Team to play an integral role in the strategic management of our supply chain and to solve some of the world's most complex supply chain constraints. You will lead the effort to integrate a state-of-the-art business optimization system that will transform the way the supply chain operates within MKS. You will lead the integration team to incorporate access to industry-wide information that will generate millions of dollars of savings. You will work closely with the MKS new product implementation teams to bring a new perspective to managing materials across multiple design teams and construct early component life cycle evaluation to ensure product life extensibility. You will construct the training to ensure supply chain team members across the company are proficient in the application and realize every ounce of benefit the application provides. You will collaborate with an international cross-functional team within procurement, category management, sourcing, engineering, logistics, finance, lean excellence, and IT to identify opportunities within the supply chain to reduce cost, lead time and optimize product life cycles while enhancing the customer experience. How you will achieve this: Lead the integration team for Supplyframe.Devise the Supplyframe training rollout for supply chain employees and engineering.Collaborate directly with MKS Engineering, other Category Specialists, Procurement and NPI teams to proactively incorporate Supplyframe in the MKS culture.Ensure Supplyframe capabilities are actively used to drive millions in component cost savings.Transform the methods bills of material are managed and shared between various functions throughout the company.Create processes and methods to optimize managing the electronics supply chain. What will you bring to the team, along with your adaptability is: A bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain (a master's degree is preferred).Experience developing supplier and supply chain strategies.Proven communication skills to engage with c-suite supplier management
