Successful performance requires a strong commitment to excellence and a willingness to take ownership for developing training content that delivers high quality credit and collections services material that enhances overall and individual achievement.This position's primary responsibility, among others, is to work with the credit and collection teams in establishing standards of operating performance through the delivery of related training that serves to enhance credit skills and customer service capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and influence the need/design of new initiatives/projects to deliver continuous improvement while maintaining focus on results delivered.Tracks attendance and compliance to training and shares feedback with Credit Managers as a means of evaluating overall performance.Serves as a key liaison in addressing customer inquiries and/or challenges.The successful candidate will work closely with the Credit management team and will be responsible for the maintenance (policy creation, policy updates and policy modification and deletion) of the Credit department's policy and procedure manual.Working closely with Credit Managers, the successful candidate will assist in identifying and developing high potential team members for specific training courses.
Assists in the development of a comprehensive operational training module for the Credit department.Participates in the development and implementation of training for the Credit team.
This will include but not limited to the sourcing of expert external trainers, developing and delivering training sessions when appropriate and preparing specific training modules for the Credit team.Works closely with the Credit management team to identify trainers and to schedule training sessions for all team members.The successful candidate will maintain a limited customer portfolio.Support and influence the need/design of new initiatives/projects to deliver continuous improvement while maintaining focus on results delivered.MUST HAVE:Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.English proficientDirectly related experience in finance or accounting and in progressively responsible positions desirable.3-5 years of related experience that yields equivalent level of knowledge.WE VALUE:Practical knowledge and understanding of industry practices, regulatory, legislative requirement and company strategy, environment and objective.Proven experience in credit/collections including managing an extensive portfolio
