**What you will do?**
- Responsible for the compliance of the Import export transactions or all our business units in LATAM region based on JCI Internal Risk Program by the establishment of procedures, create policies, perform strategical electronic, in-site audits and transactional testing, development of KPIs to measure the continuous improvement of our processes pursuing the integrity of global operations.
- Lead projects along with internal departments and external suppliers, to automate processes for trade compliance oversight, audit, centralization of information, process automatization, data analysis and duty optimization strategy.
- Customs broker management through KPI's, business reviews and communication between PBU teams.
- Be a proactive and influential member of a dynamic and forward thinking strategic corporate trade compliance team.
**How you will do it?**
- Responsible of the managing and follow up on JCI Global Internal Risk program in LATAM region and on each location.
- Performing overall electronic audits and transaction testing for all sites identifying opportunities in our trade compliance operations.
- Maintain KPI report of Risk assessment / transaction testing
- Data analysis of government reports (Datastage) and operations to identify patterns of behavior with the usage of business intelligence systems.
- Deployment of risk management (preventive and corrective actions) and mitigation strategy for trade compliance purposes YOY measured under a continuous improvement methodology all-across sites.
- Develop and Implementation of SOPs, SOW and instructions for process standardization.
- HTS validation on Data Bases.
- Analysis of Customs valuation, incremental costs vs value added declared.
- Attend /Support customs audits from Mexican federal authorities.
- Non-tariff regulations revision.
- Analyze customs regulations updates.
- Training & awareness.
- Manage performance review with custom brokers to ensure customs compliance with third party activities.
- OEA/CTPAT guidance and support to PBU.
**What are we looking for?**
- Experience on IMMEX programs, IVA /IEPS Certification, Annex 24, Annex 30, among others.
- Understanding of customs regulations, law, decrees legal framework.
- High level understanding of materials flow - Supply Chain and customs transactions.
- Audit experience.
- Continuous Improvement, understanding root cause analysis methodologies.
- Minimum experience of 6 years working with trade compliance activities.
- Soft skills: Teamwork & collaboration, business judgement, analytical reasoning & innovation, critical thinking, leadership, productivity & results focused.
- Bachelor's Degree on International Business, Commerce (LIN, LCI, LRI) or related field.
