**Responsibilities**
**Main Purpose**
Our Content Copywriter will be responsible for write copy-outs, headlines and concept big ideas for all mediums, including mobile, social, web, video, interactive, content, OOH, print, etc.
We're looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about telling stories.
You will be partnering with the GBS design/art team, strategic planning, account management and brand teams to develop transformative storytelling executions that strengthen the brand's emotional and functional connection with our consumers.
You're a conceptual thinker who can bring your ideas to life in new and inspiring ways.
You have a strong point of view on concept, art and story on behalf of brands.
You know what's bubbling in the US culture, and you know how to translate that into creative and powerful ideas, headlines and copys.
It's important to mention that this position will work for the FRITO-LAY North America Brands, such as: Doritos, Lay's Tostitos, among others, so a high-level English would be a must for this role.
**Accountabilities**
- The Copywriter must be a writer with strong fundamental skills as well as demonstrated creative capabilities.
- Write powerful headlines and copy-outs.
- Brainstorms, concept, collaborate and present innovative creative marketing and advertising work.
- Work closely with the team to deliver all copy to ensure consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand values
- Create compelling ideas and headlines for desktop, TV, electronic devices, web programs, smartphones, mobile platforms and apps.
- Be a brand guarding, following brand guidelines closely.
- Have the ability to take control of projects and work independently as well as in team.
- Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized while responding to last minute requests and adapt to changes on business trends.
- Present designs to internal clients, brand teams and external agencies for approval.
- HIGH aptitude to learn new things and sense of urgency to get things done.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field (communication, advertising, marketing, etc.)
- 3+ years experience in agency/in-house concepting and writing copy for global brands, experience on managing US BRANDS is a must.
- Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must for this role (FLUENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE COMPULSORY).
- Mastery of written communication, both short
- and long-form in ENGLISH.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined.
- A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
- An exceptional copywriting portfolio website is a MUST.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a brand environment.
- Experience with Adobe CC suite is a plus.
- Experience with creative teams in agency or in-house agency environments; CPG Experience is a must.
- Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction.
- Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint and Project Management Tools.
