Sr. Cost Accountant

Essential Job Functions
Oversee the cost accounting function, focusing on evaluating and streamlining existing processes.
Establish and strengthen inventory control procedures for both cycle and physical inventories.
Manage standard costing, scrap reduction initiatives, and lead cost-saving efforts.
Ensure optimal performance of the ERP system and support the ongoing system transition.
Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems like SAP to optimize financial data management.
Challenge existing practices and introduce actionable, practical solutions for process improvements.
Coordinate closely with the distribution team (CEDIS) to maintain effective inventory management and control.

Summary of Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or maquiladora companies.
Experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP (SAP)
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced English (mandatory)
Strong leadership and team management skills
