In this role, you will evaluate and processes new and existing customer's credit limits through financial statement analysis and credit evaluation, documents credit limits, collects monthly cash from customers, forecasts for reporting purposes cash collections, collaborates with multi-organizational departments to understand and resolve customer issues to facilitate timely payment of invoices, credit memo processing, review and release of credit holds.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Portfolio Management
- New Accounts
- Customer risk assessment and credit limit recommendation.
- Ability to negotiate alternative terms for higher risk customers.
- Collections
- Maintain assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Uses refined acceptable collection methods to ensure strong portfolio management for maximum results.
- Capable of reconciling more problematic accounts.
- Identify and take appropriate action on high risk customers
- Identify disputed items and follow through resolution.
- Order Release
- Effectively manage the order release process.
- Administrative Processes
- Ensures proper account maintenance according to established policies and procedures.
- Reviews credit documentation and seeks approval for new accounts and increases to existing lines of credit.
- Provide additional information to customers as required
- Invoice copies
- Proofs of Delivery
- Contract / PO issues, etc.
- Places a specified number of calls to customers daily in addition to returning calls to increase cash collection.
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Directly related experience in finance or accounting and in progressively responsible positions desirable.
- English proficiency.
