GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYSTScope of PositionWorks in conjunction with supply chain teams, product line management, plant and regional planners and buyers to plan and execute to a high level of customer service and cash flow performance. Leads demand allocation between Corning and Contract Manufacturing. Tracks allocation performance and helps improve communication between Corning and Business partners.Day to Day Responsibilities:Allocates customer demand between Corning and Contract Manufacturing:Tracks allocation between Corning and Contract Manufacturing following business rules:Facilitates communication between Corning and business partners:Match supply and demand to ensure appropriate capacity levels at work centers:Support America's Partnership Meeting (S and OP).:Ensures effective communication with Regional and Global counterparts to realize global flexibility.:Coordinate activities with plant and global resources to maximize speed and flexibility.:Participates in forecast consensus meeting to balance statistical forecast with commercial inputs.:Work with forecasting team to provide best possible MPS/MRP plans to plant through SAP ERP.:Assure effective implementation of planning strategies to optimize inventory and customer service metrics.:Support cost saving initiatives.:Assist in the development of supply chain strategy and roadmap.Travel Requirements:25 domestic and internationalWork Schedule:40hrs/week:1st shiftRequired Education(minimum required for consideration):Bachelors Degree (Supply Chain major preferred)Required Years and Area of Experience:2+ years of Supply Chain experienceRequired Skills:Ability to work with diverse group of people:Ability to work independently in a dynamic, business and manufacturing environment:Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks:Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex process problems:Ability to change priorities and tasks when necessary:Strong communication and presentation skills:Thorough understand of all aspects of inventory management:Demonstrated ability to use lean techniques:Fluent in English, both written and oral:Strong SAP knowledge Production Planning and SchedulingDesired Skills:Excellent communication skills Foreign Language (English):APICs CertificationThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.
