The Cybersecurity / DevOps Engineer specific duties will include development and test of firmware within a team of embedded design engineers; Collaboration with internal and external teams to maximize re-use of existing IP (intellectual property), features & functionality; Evaluation and integration of emerging frameworks and technologies in the IoT/Connected Devices space; Designing and developing the next generation of products connecting embedded devices to cloud based services. Responsibilities: Collaborate with product development teams to assess security implications of third-party integrations and service offerings. Develop and implement security best practices and guidelines for product development teams. Provide guidance and support during the design and implementation phases to ensure security requirements are met. Act as an expert facilitator on practices such as secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management. Conduct thorough security reviews of products against various compliance standards and regulatory requirements. Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures. Act as a point of contact for cybersecurity posture for a portfolio of offers. Work closely with compliance teams to address audit findings and maintain compliance with relevant standards. Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps that incorporate security and compliance considerations. Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related initiatives within the line of business. Docker knowledge and likely to have K8s knowledge with docker-compose. Linux administration knowledge. Networking knowledge, how to trace communication ports. Basic AWS knowledge, services and usage of them. Windows Server administration knowledge. Windows task scheduler knowledge. Advanced Jenkins and Jenkinsfile knowledge. Software development knowledge, how to compile and test C/C++ code. Advanced knowledge on python development. Powershell basic knowledge. BASH basic knowledge. Advanced Linux user access knowledge.
