Overview:**Responsibilities**:- Expert Designer to build and implement high availability Oracle databases (RAC, Data Guard) Oracle 12G or plus. SQL Server Standard & EnterpriseExpert Designer to build and implement high availability SQL Server databases 2012 or higherManage Oracle and MS SQL RDS systems in AWS cloud. Manage Cloud SQL databases in Google Cloud Platform.Lead various projects from the database side and execute all related responsibilities. Ability to train other team members as required.Design and implement database in accordance to end users' information needsUse high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup dataMinimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responsesProvide proactive and reactive data management support and training to usersDetermine, enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standardsPerform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrityGood knowledge in All in memory Process of Oracle 12g or plusExcellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL. Conduct periodic tests to recover databases. Develop and manage processes for carrying out these tests.Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding. Ability to write scripts.Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party toolsFlexibility to work depending upon time-zone of geographically dispersed teamsDevelop and implement database strategy for licensing on-prem and in the cloud for various databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL.Basic systems knowledge of Microsoft Windows and major Linux distributionsLearn and support Google Big Query from database perspectiveWillingness to learn continuously and pickup newer skills as required by the jobQualifications:A Bachelor of Science Degree in computer discipline is required.Proven working experience of 7 years of Oracle DBA management and as an administratorSome Experience in the manufacturing industry.Knowledge in Scrum or agile methodology and tools such as Confluence and Jira.Excellent communication skills including in English to deal in a multicultural technology environment.Oracle Database 12c: SQL FundamentalsOracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate (OCA)Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional (OCP)Oracle Real Application Clusters 11g Certified Implementation SpecialistOracle Real Application Clusters 12c Certified Implementation SpecialistOracle Database 12c Certified Implementation SpecialistOracle Database Performance and Tuning 2015 Certified Implementation SpecialistAWS or Google Cloud Platform certifications preferred
