.This Demand Planning position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources (i.E.: Nielsen or other syndicated consumer data). This position is the talent pool for the Senior Demand Planner, and Demand Planning Manager positions within the Organization.**JOB DUTIES**:- **Forecasting**:Create and maintain demand forecasts by analyzing sales trends, promotional plans, and market data. Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Work with sales, marketing, and finance to refine forecasts and achieve consensus through collaborative planning.- **System Management**:Use demand planning tools (e.G., O9, SAP/APO, Oracle) to maintain accurate forecasts, monitor error trends, and improve forecasting accuracy.- **Supply Chain Integration**:Provide inputs for inventory strategies and align demand forecasts with supply planning.- **Reporting**:Prepare reports on forecasting processes, trends, and metrics.- Accurate demand forecasts for better supply chain planning.- Enhanced collaboration among sales, marketing, and finance for consensus forecasts.- Continuous improvement in forecasting methods and system processes.This role is a key contributor to supply chain efficiency, customer satisfaction, and strategic planning within the organization.**YOU MUST HAVE**:- 5+ Years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, financial operations experience including procurement or a related field.- Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting, and demand planning tools.
