In this role, you will be key in performing detail and assembly design using CATIA V5 and will release engineering models and drawings through the internal PLM system. You will provide resolution of design problems, producibility improvements, engineering changes and new product designs. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, internal and external stakeholders on reviews associated with engineering design changes and developments. In addition, you will collaborate in continuous improvement activities and interact with global teams.Position will work at our Mexicali facility.Travel up to 10% as required when circumstances permit.Perform other duties as required.**What You Must Have**:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronic or related- 8+ years of product design experience- Proficiency to create models for aircraft components using CATIA V5- Proficiency with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems Advanced knowledge of GD&T- Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with global teams- English (Advanced)- Travel Visa to enter the USA for training and Lean Events collaboration.**What We Prefer**:- Design experience in Engine Build Up, Thrust-Reverser, Fan Cowl and Inlet components highly- Product development and design lead experience highly desired- Experience as project focal point with internal and external customers highly- Ability to code in C# or similar**_ RTX is An Equal _**_Opportunity/Affirmative_**_ Action Employer.
