Discovery Studios Center of Excellence (COE). The role will lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) Content Licensing.The role will form, grow, and stabilize the FPA Content Licensing, working with COE and business partner leadership to determine resourcing needs and organization structure.The role will be responsible for execution of all Content Licensing planning functions within the scope of responsibilities.This role is based in Mexico City, Mexico.Your Role AccountabilitiesWork with COE leadership to execute transition plansEnsure timely delivery of planning responsibilities, including but not limited to:Forecast preparationForecast submissionBudget preparationEnsure timely delivery of reporting responsibilities, including but not limited to preparation of actuals versus forecast variance reportingEnsure timely delivery of analysis for the functional area of responsibility, including but not limited to initial review and analysis of variance reportingEnsure the ongoing development of team members including professional and people skills, knowledge of the business, and team engagementPartner with stakeholders for the execution of key initiatives including:Global process alignmentContinuous improvementImplementation of planning and reporting best practicesEffective change managementOther strategic business initiativesQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10+ years related professional experience, with at least 8 years' experience in a management positionBachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree in a related field a plusEnglish language proficiency, at a minimum of professional working proficiencyAdvanced knowledge of, and experience with, financial planning, analysis, and reporting concepts, and EPM tools and processes. Process-oriented with a solid understanding of accounting principles, and internal control concepts. Experience in project management and process improvementExperience managing large teams. Commercial and Media experience a plusProven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization
