**Responsibilities**:- Generate comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models aligned with both industry standards and client requirements.- Determine conduit, conductor, and wire sizing, meticulously accounting for current loads and environmental variables.- Assess cable tray fills methodically to guarantee proper cable management, organization, and future scalability.- Perform short circuit calculations to ascertain fault currents and specify suitable protective devices.- Perform precise voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system stability and compliance with industry standards.- Ensure all electrical designs strictly adhere to pertinent local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.- Will work with other Designers, Sr.
Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders on specific assigned objectives, complex features, and aid in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.- Foster collaboration, communication, strategy, and support within your team, multidisciplinary groups (Mechanical, Structural, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.
), and inter-company teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and resource allocation.Qualifications:- Associate degree bachelor´s degree in engineering or architectural fields preferred.- Minimum eighteen (18) years experience with former employer(s).- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Experience with other tools such as Revit, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and/or EasyPower is a plus.- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.G., National Electric Code, NFPA, etc.
).- Good communication skills- Advanced English level is mandatory
