About the role
Electrical and Electronics Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise. Directs activities in the discipline and represents the organization at external events. Evaluates operating systems, provides technical training, designs electronic components, and develops implementation schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
1. Design specifications and qualification requirements to support test plan generation and reports that ensure a reliable and robust design approach.
2. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Mechanical, Validation, Manufacturing Test, Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance,
and Component Engineering disciplines as well as Project and Product Line Management and Sourcing to:
1. Support creation of Program schedules and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
2. Develop detailed Schematics, PCB layouts, Assembly drawings, Component drawings, and Bills of Material for New products.
3. Document and review embedded SW driver requirements for robustness and functionality for manufacturing and qualification testing.
4. Lead and support Embedded Hardware design, Quality, and Root Cause Analysis reviews.
5. Electronic Change Notice (ECN) generation, support, and implementation.
6. Interface with Customers, Reliability, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to support test plan generation, Pass/Fail criteria, test and assembly fixture design.
7. Design improvements, validate alternate components/circuit analysis.
- Drives the research, development, design, and testing of electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks to ensure that business objectives and required specifications are met.
- Provides technical training for less experienced engineers to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Oversees the implementation of new electronic/electrical equipment designs and modification and maintenance of existing designs/systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Electronic Component selection, Architecture selection, Circuit Design, Design Analysis, Simulation, Schematic capture, PCB layout, and Bill of Material creation.
- Excellent functional knowledge of electronic components and circuits including microprocessors, microcontrollers, op-amps, regulators, standard digital logic ICs, discrete components and arrays (Diodes, Transistors, Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Transient Voltage Suppressors, Metal Oxide Varistors, etc.).
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
1. Education: Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related.
2. 3-5 years in similar positions.
3. Advanced English (mandatory).
4. Knowledge of electronic components and circuits including (microprocessors, microcontrollers, op-amps, regulators, standard digital logic ICs, discrete components and arrays).
5. Experience with Cadence or other equivalent electronic system design software.
6. Design for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), PCB layout, and mitigation techniques against Radiated and Conducted Emissions and Susceptibility to common EMC phenomena.
7. Thorough knowledge of Design for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and electrical stress analysis calculations/process, qualification of Embedded electronic controls.
8. Thorough understanding of electronic test equipment such as DVMs,
Oscilloscopes, and Power Supplies.
9. Knowledge on Test plan procedure and report generation.
10. Design skills and experience in Analog Signal Conditioning and Analog to Digital Conversion using both discrete components and Integrated Circuits.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
1. Experience in the design and development of embedded electronic controls used in Refrigeration and HVAC applications.
2. Experience testing and certification of wireless modules, components, and systems.
