Design, develop, sustain and deliver Test and Automation solutions and applications (including software and programming) needed for all products manufactured in the plant. Provide technical assistance to Production areas for test and production equipment. Support all groups during the introduction phases of new product lines and sustaining activities for existing products.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible to update or write programs (Software) for production assembly and test.
Establish Manufacturing Methods, Test Equipment, and Systems for new products and improvements for existing equipment.
Research, develop and implement new test methods, design of equipment and systems to improve Manufacturing Processes and meet Product Specifications.
Provide technical assistance, services and support to all product lines, taking the leadership to investigate and implement a solution as needed.
Initiate necessary actions to meet or exceed Cost Reduction Goals within area of Responsibility.
Function as a responsible team member with Product Engineers, Quality Control Personnel and Factory Supervision to maintain a high degree of Quality and Productivity.
Generate all documentation and procedures needed to release all test solutions or equipment.
Assist and support the development of training programs for Technicians, Engineers and QA personnel, providing technical guidance as they progress on their assigned projects.
Research and implement new equipment, tooling, processes to reduce Manufacturing Costs.
Meeting or exceeding established Cost Reduction Goals.
Initiating and maintaining pertinent records of equipment tooling and processes.
Providing timely estimates for new/revised equipment and tools.
Maintaining good working relations with production workers and all levels of Supervisors and Management.
Reducing Cost by advising Engineering on design changes.
To be active and updated in ISO 9000 within area of responsibility.
Basic Qualifications
BS in Electronic Mechatronic, Digital Systems.
80% English proficiency.
3+ years' experience in new equipment design and sustaining.
Lab Windows/CVI and LabVIEW, Visual Basic.
SQL Programming and Acquisition Data System, Network IT.
6 Sigma and Lean.
Commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork.
Available to support different shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Automation design for equipment.
Complex startup of electronic systems.
Presenting recommendations in a professional manner.
Balancing workload.
Master's Degree in electrical or digital systems preferred.
Ability to work on equipment with electronic systems.
Experience in the Manufacturing Industry (Product Assembly).
Problem solving using analytical methods.
Understanding the objectives of the Manufacturing Industry (Product Assembly).
