Transforming information into intelligence to accelerate progress for all.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions, driving the transformation of information into intelligence and enriching life for all.We seek a skilled Layout Designer to join our DRAM Engineering Group, creating innovative layouts to support Commodity, Mobile, and Emerging R&D Design, Process, and Product Engineering customers.Responsibilities:Collaborate with customers to plan and document layouts, ensuring design and process requirements are met.Verify layout quality using DRC, LVS, and other verification tools.Interpret and apply Design Rules, ensuring intended results and knowledge of CMOS process.Develop and document layout tools and methodologies to enhance quality.Identify and provide innovative solutions through effective communication.Lead layout design sections, coordinating with local and global teams.Qualifications & Skills:5+ years of custom layout experience with advanced CMOS process.Expertise in layout area and routing optimization, design rules, yield and reliability issues.Good understanding of layout fundamentals.Adequate knowledge of CMOS circuits and CAD team interface.Experience with Cadence tools, including Virtuoso schematic editor and layout tools.Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Synopsys IC Compiler II or Cadence Innovus.Education:BS or MS in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or equivalent.
