Today, Carrier needs your talent to build upon this legacy and to deliver what's next for the modern world.**KEY RESPONSIBILITY**:Business- Develop, execute, and release product engineering design for commercial manufacturing plants to engineering review.- Participate in the equipment design from the Engineering Concept through Manufacturing check sample.- Maintain the integrity of all engineer data / Keep updated the engineering drawings and bill of materials.- Support Engineering Check Samples (ECS), MCS (Manufacturing Check Samples) builds alongside the New Product Development team, capturing any design improvement or opportunity.Technical- General design and drafting responsibilities involve creating layouts, sketches and drawings through 3D modeling and design engineering tools (Windchill).- Follow and adhere to products design Engineering specifications.- Provide technical assistance in design conceptualization and engineering documentation for equipment development requirements.- Maintain integrity in all engineer data and keep the engineering bill of materials updated.- Provide creative, innovative, comprehensive, and design-for-manufacture solutions. Develop concepts from conception to engineering documentation release that align with the objectives and business goals.- Design major components and portions of functional systems, technically advanced prototypes, and specified products using computer-aided design and engineering systems.Management- Keep New Product Development metrics within objectives.- Plan and execute projects assigned to keep them as planned.- BOM management / Windchill data base**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:- BA/BS degree in Engineering: IME, IMA, IA, IM with 5+ years of relevant experience; or- MA/MS degree in Engineering with 3+ plus years of related work experience.**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**:- Knowledge in design tools as Creo (Sheet metal, 3D modeling, assemblies, Drawing, Wiring routing, Piping), Windchill (BOM management).- Knowledge of tolerance analysis (GD&T)- Must be fluent in Spanish and English (written and oral).- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Hands-on experience working in an Engineering design environment.- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.- Strong teamwork/collaboration skills.- Dedicated to customer satisfaction including a demonstrated capability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers and co-workers.- Demonstrate an ability to deliver successful designs under tight timing constraints.- HVAC, Programing, Electrical, SAP experience a plus.- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
