The team you will be a part of
Budget Planner for Refrigeration, responsible to manage Budget Expenses of all the different projects globally. This is a key function on the Refrigeration Planning Team, responsible for connecting all our expenses for each project to the 5 years product plan of the category.
This role in summary
This position cares about the future portfolio as well as the current year under execution, partnering with all the different System Integrators of Refrigeration. Be the single point of contact globally when relating to budget.
This opportunity is located in LAR, in the city of Monterrey, Mexico and it is part of Global Product Organization responsible for the full life cycle of products, from concept to retirement.
Your responsibilities will include
Support implementation and administration of the portfolio to align with business strategies and successful delivery with budget management.
Create and upload project information in the PPM and manage the changes on the project scope with the portfolio manager.
Provide the budget outlook for Product Development expenses, Salary & Fringe, Travels and Admin expenses for the category; and understand the drivers when the budget is over than the target.
Administration of the PPM system for Refrigeration category, managing budget allocation for each project and IO Creation and deployment.
Financial Planning and risk assessment on the portfolio to drive the actions and influence project leaders to meet the budget targets
Consolidate key budget indicators and metrics, update and make sure that data is properly reflected in the GPO Control Tower.
Build a good relationship and trust with the engineering and cross-functional team members
Portfolio prioritization & collaboration with budget owners to analyze feasibility
Minimum requirements
Fluent and conversational English
Engineering Major
Demonstrated ability in data aggregation and analytics for large data sets
Demonstrate organizational problem solving and strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate well with staff at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinking. Ability to see the big picture and drive tactics to get to execute strategy.
High Analytical Skills
Ability to work independently while fostering good working relationships across physical distance and have flexibility and the capacity to handle multiple tasks at once.
Basic / medium level of budget and portfolio management
Ability to work in a cross-functional, matrix environment supporting multiple teams, functional areas and sites.
Ability to prioritize multiple request and changing priorities
Be a critical thinker ( Ability to analyze information objectively and make reasoned judgment)
