.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesPurpose of the Job: Will be responsible for planning, specification development and design of automation equipment, process, assembly tooling, and assembly line layout for New Product Introduction (NPI) and existing processes. This role will have responsibilities for Automation development and deployment across the region of Americas across 4 sites. Ensures process design supports manufacturing of products that meet quality standards while minimizing production problems and costs. Develops semi-automated/fully automated solution for existing manual processes. Develops and maintains manufacturing line layouts for maximizing space, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensures compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of engineering projects.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Engineering Responsibilities:Ideate & lead automation projects including concept work, equipment specification, project management, factory acceptances, installation, and commissioning/debug.Works with external vendors as well as internal engineers on RFQ, design, development, prototyping, process development, validation and scale up of Automation projects.Work with Product Designers, Project Managers, Manufacturing personnel, Manufacturing Engineers and equipment vendors to Design, develop & deploy automation for manufacturing processes.Responsible for identifying projects to increase production capacity and improve product quality.Identify potential process improvement projects, design and develop programs to address findings.Build prototypes and develop processes to prove complex/high-risk processes prior to final design.Develops/reviews/maintains/update related documentation, files, procedures, databases, drawings and schematics in order to ensure integrity of unit instrument and process control technologies.Project Management: Develop end to end plans and manage execution of projects including clear objectives, progress, influencing team members, communication and stakeholder reviews.Experiencia y requisitos:Must: Visa B1/B2 & PassportAvailability to travel - 40-50% travelling requirement.Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation or other related engineering discipline.Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role 5+ years of experience developing and deploying automated solutions for manufacturing.Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Skilled influencer who can impact across all levels and functions of the organization and motivate others.High energy and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Continuous Improvement mindset.Demonstrated understanding of organizational relationships, dependencies, escalation paths and appropriate communication.Excellent written, oral, and communication skills.Ability to effectively work in a team environment
