Sr. Engineer (Tecate)

Prepare and manage drawings for shop floor use, record keeping, and data entry into ERP system.- Generate flat pattern program files for fiber laser and press brakes either from scratch or using supplied drawings.- Generate 3d toolpath for tube lasers from scratch or using supplied 3d files.- Design or recommend acquisition of tooling if necessary- Create CAD Designs based on customer supplied drawings, parts, or specifications**Requirements**:- Engineering degree.- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a similar position- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes including work center routing and outside processing- Able to read BOM requirements and technical drawings.- Experience with sheet metal design functions in Solidworks- Solidworks is a must!- Excellent communication and computer skills- Attention to detail
