Responsibilities for this position, as well as qualifications for advancement, include:Design, set-up, and validation of test equipment for the production lines to meet schedule and quality requirements.Project driving on MS Project, justification of capital investment and creation of statement of work (SOW).Leading a group of 5 Sr. technicians as Test Engineering Supervisor.
Scheduling of projects and activities for downtime reduction, false rejects reduction, maintenance and improvement projects.
Managing all employee-related information such as payroll, performance appraisals, hiring, training, etc.
All equipment-related information and work orders for maintenance operations managed via MP2 Enterprise.Optimize automated test equipment to meet and exceed quality, cost and efficiency targets.
All final assembly equipment based on NI Labview/NI TestStand and all test fixtures at board level based on Agilent i3070.Assist in the troubleshooting of down equipment to minimize the production time lost.Issue technical reports for new implementations as well as 8D reports and CAR answers and follow-up to provide root cause analysis and countermeasures.Participate in New Product Development meetings and manufacturing runs as test engineering window.Conduct DOE, PFMEA, SPC, DFT, GR&R, KAIZEN and similar activities to ensure good testability of PCB assemblies and final products.Ensure that all safety regulations, including regulatory controls, are carefully followed.Work as a key contributor in the execution of the Division's strategic objectives.Maintain and continually improve the quality management system in the areas assigned with a "risk management" approach, ensuring compliance with company procedures, policies, and the most current revision of ISO 9001 standard
